Location: Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat, a Four Seasons Hotel (TripAdvisor), Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, France (Côte d’Azur)
In winter, my musings consist of warm summer winds and breezy outfits while in summer, I secretly reminisce about the soft cosy knits I used to throw over my shoulders in winter (my deepest affection goes to those in neutral, nude or pastel tones). Something with fickleness of human nature and the seemingly greener grass on the other bank of the river, I guess. Maybe you’re guilty of this too?
Anyway, today I’m trying to prove to you that you can, in fact, have the best of both worlds. Or, more precisely, both seasons. Or, even more accurately, the best of four seasons. (And what better place to prove this than in a Four Seasons hotel?)
I wore a top with elegant open back design (the epitome of summer style) in a soft, cosy cream knit with playful scarf detail around the neck (very wintery). I added a casual touch with oversized khaki trousers (one of my go-to garments for spring and autumn). I jazzed up my ensemble with brown leather clogs, an ethnic bangle, a beige suede tote and a straw boater hat for an outfit that’s simple yet interesting.
Merging the seasons, it’s quite my cup of tea.

I’m in love with these photos, simply can’t get over the fact how amazing they’re! Love your look here too.
As always your pictures are of a dazzling beauty. But these ones even more so because of the impressive setting of this beautiful hotel. I wish I could visit it once.
I like your elegant and yet “nonchalant” style of combining delicate colors and tissues. I’m especially fond of this top which adds warmth of knitting material to an attractive open back side: sophisticated!
Thanks for this inspiration!
Wonderful, wonderful photos!! Could come right out of a fashion magazine. Breath-taking interior, classy and stylish.
You are amazing in these surroundings. Your outfit is cosy and stylish at the same time. I’m full of admiration…
