My take on the perfect casual outfit for this time of the year’s lukewarm weather: wear a high waisted, petrol blue skinny jeans and combine it with a striped bardot top that allows your shoulders to catch some sun rays (see how I previously wore this top here). Throw on an oversized light grey chunky cardigan if necessary – I hope the temperatures where you live are mild enough to take it off for a good chunk of the day at least. Finish with a simple cross-body bag, heels (if you’re more of a comfort person: ballerina flats are a lovely alternative), and (for chillier mornings and evenings) a soft grey scarf.

For this shoot I added, partly from a style point of view, partly for theatrical effect, a hat that involuntarily got ping-ponged between sky and cobble stones as we were trying to nail this shot. The bloggers and photographers among you, readers, will understand that a photo like that requires at the very least thirty spunky attempts.

That slight turmoil, or else perhaps a case of acute feline spring blues, might explain why I caught the lions we encountered that day rolling their eyes in agony.

These photos have such a great atmosphere! The weather today looks exactly like in the photos. So it really inspired me what to wear, when I go for the meeting.
